SUMMARY:2021 International Open Access Week
DESCRIPTION:The Open Access Week 2022 will be held from October 24th to 30th this year centred on the topic “Open for Climate Justice”. \nThe climate crisis has occupied a fundamental space on our agendas\, bringing together an extensive community of experts looking for a solution to a problem that threatens the sustainability of our planet and our survival as a species. \nFollowing UN statements\, to speak of climate justice is to recognize that its impact “will not be borne equally or fairly\, between rich and poor\, women and men\, and older and younger generations. “ Open science is key to removing barriers and promoting greater knowledge sharing. Openness is fundamental to the development of policies and behaviour change that allow for an effective and balanced response to climate change issues. \nOver the next week researchers\, scientists and librarians from around the world are dedicated to promoting actions related to the open science movement. There are many events available\, with free access that only require advance registration. You can consult all events on the following page: https://www.openaccessweek.org/events

DESCRIPTION:Com o objetivo de sensibilizar e promover as práticas de ciência aberta junto da comunidade de investigadores\, gestores de ciência\, estudantes e do público em geral\, a FCT promove\, no âmbito das comemorações da semana internacional de ciência aberta\, um evento intitulado “Ciência Aberta: Acesso\, colaboração e partilha” \nA Ciência Aberta é a atividade científica realizada de modo aberto\, colaborativo e transparente\, facilitando a partilha e a comunicação dos processos e  resultados (dados\, publicações e outros). \nNesta sessão serão abordados serviços ao dispor da comunidade para promover a prática da ciência aberta em particular a b-on e os acordos transformativos (publicação em acesso aberto sem custos para os autores)\, a rede de repositórios científicos de acesso aberto e os serviços para a gestão de dados de investigação. \nA sessão é organizada pela FCCN\, unidade da FCT que tem a missão de assegurar tecnologia e meios para a investigação\, para a ciência e para o desenvolvimento de novo conhecimento
