Christmas is coming and it’s time to look back on the year that is ending and start shaping the new year that is just around the corner. Throughout this year, the Teresa e Alexandre Soares dos Santos Library has been highlighting books that not only allow our students to understand and reflect on the brave new world we live in, with all the implications of technological developments, especially in the field of AI, the rise and success of figures like Elon Musk and Donald Trump, advances in the field of economics/finance/business, but also allow them to develop their self-awareness and well-being, a very important topic for our school, as well as their skills as students in the field of research and scientific writing.
The books highlighted in December are an excellent summary of the previous highlights and have been chosen to be read during this time of reflection and preparation. So, enjoy our Christmas reading and get ready for the New Year ahead!
